I always cheer for Big Ten teams in the tourney... but seeing the Goophs get knocked out doesn't break my heart.

There was clearly a push from officials/league office to help Minny this year. Good to know it was only within the B1G and not a national thing.

I'm happy for Northwestern. After the game Pat Fitzgerald came into the locke room jumping on the N'western players in celebration. There was a small part of me hoping he would have fallen down and broken his other leg

When I saw that game when the revealed the brackets, I said that it was an easy pick and wouldn't be an upset. Not surprised OR disappointed.

Right there with celebration of NW win and Mn loss. Guess the ncaa should have sent Iowa to ncaa. But, hey, I am a fan of the NIT. Good teams, many of which are better than lower ncaa seeds, and maybe even some higher ones. NIT very competitive and just as much fun as early ncaa games. Glad Iowa takes it seriously. Bottom line? There are a hell of a lot of great bb players in this country. Guess we may have to admit that the BT is down this this year in terms of superior teams. But, I love the top to bottom competition!

Also, lets eliminate rutgers, maryland, penn st from the BT. But, keep nebbie around the BT just so we can continue to make fun of them.

I hope we're making a sheetload of coin from the East Coast TV footprint, because Maryland and Rutgers are square pegs in round holes. They don't belong.

Screw Minnesota. I think it is hilarious they got bumped to a 5 seed (didn't' deserve that) and then draw a better team than them.

I don't blame refs for losses, but if they did their job better there is a good chance Iowa plays sometime today.
