Kansas City Royals

As a Royal fan I would love to see this. Did I miss some pitching transactions recently because they need some serious pitching help if this is going to happen.
 
It's about time we get some Royal Love on here! They got Sanchez from the Giants in exchange for Melky. They signed Johnathan Broxton to help strengthen the bull pen They are really looking to bring the young guys along more. Duffy, Montgomery, Odessi ect... I think this year they will fight for at least second place. Hopefully first but I like the chances next two years of possibly getting their.
 
I will take 2nd place in AL Central and love it.

KC has a bright future but the Tigers are stacked. The best thing that could happen to KC is that Caberera and Fielder eat their way out of the league
 
eventually the best minor league system of all of baseball has to come out successful sooner of later. The Rays done it. So can the Royals. Peter Gammons believes the Royals may be able to by 2013-15 when all the young guys have really developed and established them selves in the big leagues.

Rumor has it in Detroit all you can eat Donuts before every home games for the team only. No limits for Caberera and Fielder!:)

Yea, and like the last 10 years or so, they will get rid of these guys when they can't afford them.
 
Its an exciting time to be a Royal fan. While I don't share the OP's opinion about next year, I do agree that they will challenge for an AL Central in the next five years.
 
So does this mean that the Royals are going to splurge for once? Like a couple of previous posters pointed out- how are they going to afford all this young talent?
 
As a Royals fan, I hope you are right. It seems that The new ownership and GM really are trying to build something the right way. The farm system is loaded and they have been developing them at the right pace. They also have been keeping young talent.

I have been saying in three years since last year so I would love it to be a year early.

Go Royals.
