JVB is tied for 15th in B1G in TD passes

But I hear he and his WRs are real close to putting it all together. Just a couple of more games and they'll have it ready to go.

Maybe the even worse stat.......no other Iowa QB is listed....

Ragging on him is easy this year, as his performances have generally been pretty dismal, but I will say this about him, he answers every question after the games, and he takes the bullet for the team. He's owed respect for that.

Which is way more than I can say for the coaches.

What's worse is he is 4th in Passing Yards.
Almost 1800 yards and just 4 TDs.

I feel more and more that this is a system thing. He couldn't catch up to the change, AND the scheme design this right now is far more lateral. Not sure if that is a function of what the receivers can or can't do, or what. But JVB is not the horse for this course.

KMM has 74 catches for 805 yards in not yet two years. McNutt had 35/685 in his first two years (one catch freshman year). McNutt ended with 170 career grabs, DJK holds career record of 173. KMM has a shot at the catches mark. Won't get TD's or career yards

If you look at the Top 10 WRs in rec yards, only three players have fewer than 5 TDs on the year. Iowa has two of those three players.
