Is CJ switching to D? I thought he was recruited as a RB?

I heard they were starting him at RB.

from what I read he even played more safety in high school than rb. We have a lot of running backs and he is definitely an option at safety

We also have 4 (5 if you count Josh Jackson who I have heard may move to WR) DBs in this class alone. 5 (or 6) if you add Hilliard into the mix. We do have some RBs, but as we know at Iowa, you can't have too many, and after next year 2 will have graduated.

Next year the Hawks will have on scholarship:

Weisman (SR)
Bullock (SR)
Canzeri (JR)
Malloy (SO)
Barkley Hill (SO)
LeShun Daniels (SO)
Wadley (RS FR)
Markel Smith (FR)
CJ Hilliard (FR)

I don't think the depth currently at RB is going to push him to DB. Hilliard could easily red shirt. And who knows what the 2015 recruiting class looks like at RB.

I already have this kid listed as a "commit" on my own recruiting ratings website. Anything less than getting this kid to become a Hawkeye would be a total fiasco.
