Yeah, we did whiff, thanks to Andersen, our HC who had no interest in him and then bolted for Oregon State. Chryst tried to get him but he'd already committed. As for who's better. The only stat that Stanley was significantly better than Hornibrook was in INTs. Neither QB had experienced WRs and the one we had we lost half way through the season. Neither team blocked particularly well when protecting the QB. You are right, our run game was much better, efficiency wise our pass game was too. If Stanley is AA caliber, Hornibrook is right there with him. As much as Chryst wanted Stanley, he's just as happy with Hornibrook.
BTW, Hornibrook is going to tear up the league this year. It's going to be a really good game if Stanley does too.
