projected as #12 pick overall if he want pro...

Glen Robinson III was in top 15 also...

Mich could get cleaned out...

Yea with Burke a guaranteed lottery pick and McGary and GR3 borderline lottery picks they'd be hard pressed not to go pro. I'm reading that Hardaway is likely a late first or early second round pick so he might stay, although it'd have to be tempting to leave if the other three leave.

Doesn't Hardaway only have 1 more year anyways? Depending on where he is on the education side I could see him leaving.

correct, he's a junior. especially with everyone else leaving (and them being a worse team next year) i can see him going if he's a projected late 1st round pick.

GRIII and McGary could use another year, but I guess it is all about upside and striking while the iron is hot.

Who is to say McGary improves at all with another year. He's still going to be bigger and stronger than anyone he plays. He needs to work on his jump shot, but he can do that in the NBA and it's going to be a much stronger class next season.

It took half the season for McGary to get into shape and get comfortable with Bielien's system and he only flashed during the tournament, is that a big enough sample size for you? He is projected to be drafted right outside the lottery picks which means the team that drafts him are expecting a little bit more than a niche player. I dunno, i think he needs a year of being the guy before he steps into the NBA.

Actually during the Final Four, Jim Nantz said him not playing much right away was due to the fact he has ADD and it was a matter of him getting acclimated to the college game and lifestyle.

And its also news to me that players drafted in the lottery or shortly after the lottery are always expected to contribute right away in the NBA.

No it doesn't. This isn't the NFL draft. If you're picking outside the lottery and get a guy that can be in the rotation at all, it's a good pick. I don't think he's going to improve that much in college going against younger, weaker guys.

One of the announcers or analysts of the championship game said his numbers weren't as good because his offense is directly tied to Burke...and he was on the bench with 2 fouls. His numbers for the season next year will improve but I don't see him doing what he did in the tournament. It's probably somewhere between his very good NCAA run and the drop off in the championship game.

Hardaway's draft stock isnt going to improve any with another year in Ann Arbor....he gone.

I agree his stock won't improve and thus he will probably go. Looking at his numbers for the season he was their 2nd leading scorer...4 points less than Burke but 3.5 points higher than Robinson. He's not a flash in the pan guy...has been pretty good since he arrived at Michigan.

Didn't know about the ADD, missed that. 1st rounder and guaranteed money they gotta be expecting something.

I can't break down every NBA team so I don't know if he can get into everyone's rotation. So Aaron White is one of those weaker, younger guys?:)
