I just emailed a long letter at Barta, made me feel a little better to get my gripes off my chest after this year and reading that CJ almost positively is gone, I request those of you with similiar feeling do the same. I am sure it ain't gonna move a mountain, but let them know a lot of us are out there.... thanks

I'm sure Gary is just disappointed also...he meant to say expecting 10 wins on a ridiculously easy schedule is unacceptable.
I'm beginning to hate Gary Barta and Kirk Ferentz. The whole program just feels stale and predictable to me for some reason. After the Nebraska loss, Gary makes a suedo stand on the results of the season to placate the fans, and KF immediately goes to the old we were 3 plays from 10-2 crap and it was disappointing, not unacceptable.
This year is the first year that I actually feel KF somehow thinks because we lost close games, we are somehow in the top tier of the league. You can't continue to lose to every good team on your schedule...look at the past two years, and say you are in the top tier of your league. You haven't beaten anyone good in two years. Our best win in the past 3 years is probably Northern Illinois in 2012 in Chicago. Think about that one for a moment. It's been three years since we beat a really good team. You could also say Nebraska last year, but they were so beat up when we played them, it was expected.

So Barta will be satisfied with the season if we win in Jacksonville....we will have secured another coveted "Bowl Championship"....just like the other several ding-dong "Bowl Championships" won yesterday. Man, with all these "Bowl Championships" being won, me thinks there will be many happy coaches getting ten (10) year extensions for proving themselves. "Bowl Championships" just don't grow on trees people....I mean, come on now...they are earned!!!

Which is a curious thing for him to say, seeing as how 2010 was the last "Bowl Championship" we have won. So basically the past 3 years have been a failure, by Barta's own standards. Yet he supports Kirk Ferentz without question. The guy's a complete failure.
