The schedule can be found on link. Article:

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Fans looking for their summertime Hawkeye fix can tune into the BTN on June 6 for round-the-clock coverage of Iowa athletics.

The network is scheduled to three UI football games to go along with men's basketball, wrestling and field hockey coverage. The network will also air Big Ten Icon specials featuring Nile Kinnick and Dan Gable.

The day begins at 6 a.m. (CT) with the UI football team's 2011 comeback victory over Pittsburgh when the Hawkeyes completed the biggest comeback in school history.

At 8 a.m., the BTN will replay coverage of the Hawkeye field hockey team's 2-1 victory over Ohio State in the 2008 Big Ten Tournament championship game, followed by the Iowa men's basketball team's road triumph at Wisconsin last season.

The Big Ten Icons series featuring Nile Kinnick will begin at noon followed by the football team's 2003 win over Michigan at 12:30 p.m.

After airing the Dan Gable Big Ten Icons feature at 2:30 p.m., the BTN will televise coverage from the 2010 Big Ten Wrestling Championships.

The UI football team's 2010 Insight Bowl victory over Missouri will begin at 6 p.m. followed by the main course -- the 2005 Capital One Bowl win over LSU where Warren Holloway made "the catch" to propel Iowa to the victory on the last play of the game.

Two additional "Iowa Days" on the BTN will be held on June 28 and July 19.

Sounds like a good day to tune in to BTN. Just a little sad that the Comeback game starts so early in the morning. Oh well, maybe I should wake up?

They need to break out some other games since some of them never get shown. I would like to see the 2001 Alamo Bowl victory over TTech or the 04 Outback Bowl win over Florida. Hell, even the 2009 Outback Bowl win over the cocks would be good to see. I know Tate to Halloway was probably the most exciting moment over the last decade for Iowa but its been played a bunch the last few offseasons.

That is true, Tate to Halloway was on alot. I would like to see the win over Florida again. I wish they put some other games early at 6, or start with the field hockey early. I wanna relive that Pitt Game.

Totally agree. How many times can one watch 2002 Purdue and 2008 PSU before wondering, "Are these the only games the TV folks saved?!"

I really would like to see the 2009 Indiana game again, too.

Good call. I want to relive that Indiana game, that would a great game to throw on tv too.

Im shocked the Iowa/Wisconsin game from 2003 has not been a part of the BTN's greatest games yet.

That was a classic.

I love going on youtube for McNutt's 92-yard TD. That score came out of nowhere, amazing how Indiana's pass D continues to be susceptible to crossing patterns and up-and-outs. And you would have thought they would have figured a way to stop McNutt by teh 2011 season. OTOH, we never could stop James Hadry, so maybe it was a form of "equalizing"...

I really don't understand how someone can sit down and watch a football game that they have already seen. I know the BTN's business plan is based entirely on hoping that people do...I just don't understand why people do it.

Same reason people watch reruns of their favorite TV shows.

But 85% of TV show reruns are not boring filler. There is a reason that you can understand what happened in a game from seeing the score and watching 2 minutes of replays from the most important part.

When you watch a game, the vast majority of the appeal, the reason for watching, is to see what the result will be. When watching a TV show, the appeal is to follow the narrative.

False.

Full House rerun- Danny Tanner runs into a parenting problem. Uncle Jesse, Aunt Becky and Joey help Danny Tanner fix problem. Tear jerking speech to one of the kids at the end of the the episode from Danny, Jesse, Joey or Becky or any combination of the 4 while uplifting music plays in teh background. The other 85% is just boring filler.

Exactly. Amazed how a typical Iowa fans video library is larger than what BTN has historically rolled out.

Homer Simpson (reading TV Guide): "Let's see...Oh! Gomer Pyle! 'Sergeant Carter gets mad at Gomer' Who could forget that one?"

(Homer daydream sequence..."Pyle!....Shazam!...Pyle!...Shazam!...Pyle!...Shazam!"...fade from daydream sequence...)

Watch it on that Full House cut-down. You're venturing into the lion's share of Ghost's VHS collection.

Agree. Watching it again one time after watching it live is fun because you kinda repeat the good feelings, but after that it really gets boring quickly. Really, you could condense these games into half-hour highlight packages and it would be just as effective. Not sure why the BTN doesn't do that and then show more games during a day's scheduling.

I feel the exact same way. And about movies. I can't stand watching movies 10 times. or the people that'll pay big bucks to go to theatre to see same movie 2 or 3 times. Thats insane. I like when they show the games with coaches and players narrating and talking about what was going on at the time and stuff like that but seeing same thing over again blah no thanks.
