Jump Around

I went up to Madtown for the Iowa game in '09 and it was crazy how the entire stadium physically rocked when Jump Around was playing. Awesome experience even for a visiting fan! I'm sure visiting fans think the same thing about the Pancheros Big Burrito Lift when they come to Kinnick. Who doesn't like to pump it up? (Don't you know, you got to pump it up!)

I know that when I think Iowa football the first thing that comes to my mind is the big burrito lift.

Maybe they should play that song before the game to get the students to show up before halftime

If I remember correctly, didn't Iowa players "Jump around" at Camp Randall two years ago when we beat them. Kinda back fired on wisky that time. :D

Great article. I was at the Purdue game in '98. I had no clue that was the 1st time it was done. Only adds to my story.

While playing football at Norwalk my senior yr. In 2008, we started the tradition of playing jump around in between the 3rd nd 4th quarters. And we were playing our big rival Winterset, nd when the song came on, all of us started jumping around and the coaches struggled to get us under control. Lol it was so funny.
A couple months later, I met a kid who played for Winterset, and he told me that it made their coaches and other players so mad when we did that.

Wisconsin fans are more concerned with what they are doing than the game they are watching.

I love the fact we're seriously comparing the Burrito Lift and Jump Around traditions. Only Iowa Fans. That said I'm a huge fan of the "Burrito Lift".
