JUCO WR Powell still looking around?

You're an idiot. Just because we have interest in a player does not mean the interest is reciprocated. Other than being listed on his ESPN player card, there have been no ties between Stewart and Iowa. None. No recruiting stories, no tweets, nothing. That, coupled with the fact that he has tweeted he already knows which school he's attending, leads a normal, logical person to conclude that Iowa has no chance .

Offer=hope.....

not sure but Iowa maybe looking at his replacement and is recruiting #17 ranked JUCO WR out of Hutchinson JUCO Jatavius Stewart same size and speed, but is a 4* on Juco ranking this list is on HR recruiting forum

So stars matter when it helps your argument but are irrelevant when talking about Iowa bball vs Indiana?

Ok

He's listening to possible interest from others...........kinda like our head coach was doing a few years ago. You know, not giving a definitive yes or no on staying or going........just buying time to let the game play out a little longer to possibly enhance personal fortunes.

Couldn't have said it better.

Herb logic

Iowa offers 1-5 top player in country along with every blue blood. And the most they know about Iowa is that it they heard that is that one place that grows all that corn stuff. THEREFORE WE HAVE A CHANCE!!!!

He's a JUCO who hasn't even graduated. He should feel blessed to have an offer from a program like Iowa and should stand by his commitment!

Dont know that I disagree but the post was intended to be facetious. Coaches can try to improve their positions by entertaining rumored offers but players oftentimes aren't extended the same treatment.......they talk to someone else and they can have their offer pulled. By dragging out decisions as Ferentz did a few years back it puts Iowa's program in limbo during that time period much like a wavering verbal does with Ferentz's plans on recruiting.

Many 18-20 year olds don't necessarily have stable footing established at this point in their lifes and the fact that opposing coaches are banging on their door every day in some cases doesn't help them think any more clearly. With recent changes in NCAA recruiting rules I think it only gets more confusing for the players.......more flip / flopping on the way in the future.

KF is hardly in a position to make demands on any recruit.

Oh I completely agree, however he has done it in the past, most recently with Berkley Edwards.

He was down to Iowa, Minny and Cal. He said he was waiting to see how those schools handled their coaching changes, meaning, Cal and Iowa. Cal fired their coach, Iowa didn't. But his dad said in an interview that the Iowa coaches pulled their offer because "if he was going to commit, he would have done it already."

Days later, he committed to Minny. Then Iowa got LeShun Daniels.
