JUCO WR Powell still looking around?

This is really sad, I don't know how much he really wants to consider other schools but if he looks around too much KF may pull his offer.

KF has said that in regards to taking committments from recruits that he tells them not to commit until they are 100% sure they want to come to Iowa.

Looks like this kid might have thought Iowa was his only option so he jumped at he offer, now that Iowa isn't his only option and he is going to shop around.

I want to know what the deal with him not signing already is. The early signing period for JUCOs has either already ended or is about to. It is unusual for these guys to wait until Feb to sign unless they're undecided. You would have thought our coaches would have pressured him to sign in Dec at the time he committed. Anyone know what the issue is here?

not sure but Iowa maybe looking at his replacement and is recruiting #17 ranked JUCO WR out of Hutchinson JUCO Jatavius Stewart same size and speed, but is a 4* on Juco ranking this list is on HR recruiting forum

Based solely on that tidbit of information he isn't gone quite yet but he is looking to take visits because he has a "dream" school or offer he is waiting on.

This is just like Delano Hill, he was strongly committed but he got his dream offer and decommitted. Guess we will have to wait and see if he gets it or not.

If you were a WR with the potential to be a good BCS level player would you go to Iowa? Iowa has been been putting out bad offenses for most part for the last 14 years with WR being the biggest problem area.

It was a poor idea for him to choose Iowa in the first place. At that point it was probably his best offer. But if he is in fact on of the best JC WRs in the nation he'll get a better offer sooner or later.

He is being brought in because of his YAC and big play ability because clearly one on on the active roster has those skills.

The shot pass that GD brought in with his scheme is Powell's specialty.

He only has one other offer, from Ohio University. It's not like he had a ton of options.

yup the MAC conference is a joke sending 7 teams to bowl games and 1 to the OB even CMU went to a Bowl game and Won,
oh by the way that Ohio team beat PSU

Are we seriously going to lose this guy? If we lose Damond and can't land another explosive WR I will finally, and fully switch to being a full time ferentz hater.

If Damond leaves and Jatavius doesn't commit KF needs to go.

We have absolutely no chance with him...

KF is hardly in a position to make demands on any recruit.

So you're saying the straw that will break the camels back is not getting a JUCO WR?

Weak sauce, dood.
