I would much, much, rather have two guys we recruited hard but lost to MSU - Raequan Williams and Mike Panasuik. Both of those guys are stout and would have looked very good in Hawkeye uniforms.

Agreed. I've heard more than one ass't coach come out and say how good he is, one being Reese Morgan. I can't say I remember coaches talking about redshirts in the past, or not very often anyway.

Craig was one of my favorite 49ers... Totally underappreciated and borderline HOFer. If he'd have ended up a Hawk instead of going to play for Osborne....

He's just like Higby. But with God as my witness, I swear I heard them call Higby's name in the Rams game the other day so the guy is in the NFL. Has to be the same guy.
