Josh Jackson All American

A smart decision financially to leave if he is projected first round, but there is more to life than money. While you can always come back to finish your education, you can never get back your senior year of college ball. The NFL is a job, just not the same as competing with your buddies in college.

He seems like a great young man, I am sure it will work out for him either way.

New draft prospect rankings out today:

9 - Joshua Jackson (CB, Iowa)
A new player added to the list.

Joshua Jackson has been a name that has floated around the fringes of the draft conversation, but he thrust himself into the spotlight with his performance against Ohio State this weekend.

Listed at t 6’1,” 192 pounds, he has the look of an NFL defensive back, and with 15 passes defensed and 5 interceptions (three off OSU’s J.T. Barrett, including the one below) he definitely has the ball skills.

The NFL Scouting Combine will help to determine whether or not he has the raw athleticism to be a first round corner, but his production is undeniable and deserves to be highlighted here.

The fan reaction on this is priceless. Especially Herky and the cheerleader dude with the cone in the bottom right.

His story is different than dez' story. Dez was polishing up nicely yr 2, ready after yr 3 for the pros. JJ is 9 games into a good season. Nfl might not jump on him as 1st round talent just yet. Tools and skills, but on their 1st round dime to develop. He might be good, but he has development to do
