They usually do pretty well in their playoffs. Brian Westbrook made it to the NFL from there. Plus it's way closer to home. Hope we can land him!

Correct, Villanova is doing a "feasibility study" to determine if they can make the jump to the Big East.
Furthermore, if memory serves me correctly, Villanova made it to the FCS National Championship this year. I know they destroyed Appalachian State, a perennial FCS Champion.

I'm sure both of those instances will be in their "study." I think they stay right where they are. The Big East is only getting more competitive, however it would be the right jump -that is into a BCS AQ conference, Western Kentucky is still struggling in the Sun Belt, Before you may remember they were competing year in & year out versus the Gateway conference.
EDIT: For those that do not remember: Connecticut rounded off their first season in 1-A (FBS) with a win @ ISU -the year they beat us in Kinnick. Then ISU lost in the Humanitarian Bowl on the blue turf vs Boise. fun trip down memory lane:

I just saw this guys name today as well. 5'9" 177 lbs. I'll have to call a couple a cousins tomorrow and see if they can give him a nudge our way. I have literally hundreds of Italian relatives in Troy, NY. I'm sure that some of them know him or his family personally. I'll tell them to plant a bug in his ear that Iowa is loaded with good hearted peeps that would give him a lotta love and a great education (his GPA is pretty darn high too). It can't hurt anyhow. He looks friggin fast that's for sure.
