I was also impressed by the speed he showed on that long run. And that was late in the game.

I don't think the fact that long run came on his 26th carry and 28th touch of the game can be understated. He was booking I'd love to know what his 40 time at his peak of it. If he keeps this up he'll get himself more then a look in the NFL. The fact that he's also a good pass blocker will only add to his value. The only thing he can't do is become 6'0 210. He wouldn't be the smallest rb in the NFL if he makes it. And I don't see why he couldn't at this point. I don't think he's one of the top 5 rbs in college football but an argument can be made for top 10ish easy enough with all that he brings to the table.

Mel Gordon isn't very tall. JC is coming on strong and will only get better. Don't know his plans post- Iowa, but he is an articulate, humble person, going right up the ladder!! Business world, coaching, or ?, he has saved this running attack for Iowa with no Daniels in sight.!! Appreciate him greatly.
