Jordan Bernstine - what's the deal?

He was on the sideline Saturday, I'm assuming he played special teams but he (and Willie Lowe) have been passed for playing time at cornerback by a true freshman.

My guess is that injuries have factored in. I know Lowe and Bernstine both had reported leg injuries in mid-season. I think Bernstine may be more of safety now than CB. Lowery had made himself visible on special teams and will probably contend for starting spot next spring IMO

I wondered the same thing. He showed promise last year and I was surprised Hyde started over him. I think JB can be a shutdown corner.

Bernstine is not a corner, and i am not sure why we tried to make him one. now, after a devastating injury, he is even less of a corner.

he has/has NFL talent at safety and should have been playing there all along.

how can you say this? What have you seen out of him that would make you think he could be the next Spievey. he'll play safety next year. BTW, FWIW, I think Sash is gone after this year.

On a related note, why in the hell was CJF only playing on special teams? Was that worth burning a redshirt season over!!??
