There are lots of references to RPI and the multitude of other rating systems in several threads. If we beat the teams we are supposed to beat will it help our RPI, hurt our RPI (weaker schedule strength) or not really have an impact? I'm thinking of NW, Purdue, Penn State and Nebraska (2). I'm assuming wins against Minnesota and Illinois help since they are considered quality teams...even though they are home games. Thanks!

Iowa's RPI is in the low 90's right now....MAYBE it gets into the 60's if it goes 7-1 the rest of the way (losing to Indiana). It's just gonna be tough...Iowa would have to do that and win at least two in the B1G tourney...its resume just looks like that of an NIT team right now
