Jok recruiting: Now I get it

It's very rare the Hoops Report talks much about out-of-state players, but in this case it's hard not to after so much attention has been paid to the terrific Class of 2013 trio of Whitney Young's Tommy Hamilton, Simeon's Jabari Parker and De La Salle's Alex Foster out of Chicago. As talented as the trio of Hamilton, Parker and Foster are, Jok is better.

Ah yeah. There's a guy Jabari Parker likes basketball OKAY LET'S GET TO PETER JOK NOW!! But honestly I never get tired of looking at these. Shoot, even I wasn't aware 2 weeks ago of Olaseni's explosiveness. The one thing guys like him remind you of all the time, something held even more true to the abilities of Jok, Gesell and Uthoff: Never. Discount. Upside. And always take a moment to laugh at the schools that missed out on your cats. If we can lose Paige and Ilus to UNC and UK then I damn will sure laugh at NW and Creighton lol.

Marble: Dayton, Providence
White: BC, Northwestern, Toledo
Oglesby: Creighton, Indiana St, Illinois, Minnesota, Northwestern
Basabe: VCU. St. John's
Gesell: Creighton, Utah, ISU, Stanford, Nebraska, Drake, UNI
Woodbury: North Carolina, Ohio St., Wisconsin, Stanford, California, Minnesota
Uthoff: Indiana, Butler, ISU, Creighton, Illinois, UNI
Olaseni: Auburn, Ole Miss, Xavier
McCabe: Butler, UNI

I totally see how Creighton and Butler do it. Soon we will have Gesell-Oglesby-Uthoff in the same starting lineup. Obvoiusly the White-Olaseni part has just as much to do with the intrigue behind this as anything, but it's never too early to go past White: Gesell-Jok-Ellingson-Uthoff-Woodbury.

Then Uhl, Jok and Ellingson are Iowa's final players. I'll miss them.

What? I seriously have no idea what you just said. Am I the only one or did this literally make 0 sense whatsoever?

Needed to create youa bit of observation to be able to thank you so much yet again for yourgorgeous thoughts you have documented at this time. It has been quite extremelygenerous with people like you in giving publicly precisely what a few peoplecould have marketed for an electronic book to end up making some bucks forthemselves, most importantly now that you could possibly have done it in caseyou decided. The smart ideas also worked to become fantastic way to recognizethat other individuals have a similar dreams like mine to see good deal morewith respect to this problem. Certainly there are a lot more pleasurableperiods ahead for individuals who looked over your blog.

Believe he is say Iowa's recruiting is sub par, oooor Iowa only recruits guys with a big upside that nobody else sees..

Thank you for your submission to the Hawkeye Nation Poetry Review. Although the readers had much to say about your unique piece, it unfortunately does not meet the needs of our journal at this time. Please feel free to submit again during the next reading period.

Ummmm, most of this was directly pasted from the front page and the recruiting site it took me to. Only parts in my words are the ones about upside and our 3-year lineup plan with this current crop we have.

But yeah, if you think it was random, I felt the same way seeing a 3-year old article on the front recruiting page. And yes, Jok was once heralded right up there with Parker.

Everyone understands the copy and pasted stuff, it's the gibberish in between that makes no sense

I'm going to steal Jon's nickname for him from now on, Peter Joke.
Jon didn't nickname him that. He said it accidentally, then corrected himself immediately.
I'm gonna use wolfgang's nickname for him from now on; Peter Buckets.

He is gonna have a great career at iowa.

At one time there were experts that had Jok as the #1 recruit in last years class, but that was all before his injury. The interest in him cooled off considerably after he had gotten hurt and he never regained those lofty rankings. He very well could turn into a great player but Jok is no Jabari Parker.

Have you actually reread any of your recent posts? WOW. It sounds like the first day of running out of ADHD medication.
