Johnson and King both 2nd round picks?

Johnson has really risen on draft boards and he had a nice showing at the senior bowl. He and King will be gone by pick 45 I predict.

I've seen King as high as 15 and as low as 50. I'll split the difference and say late first round around 30. JJ has definitely risen and will be a great DT in a 4-3. I'm going to guess around 52. I think CJB ends up as UFA...

From a lot of the mock drafts and prospect rankings I've seen, they project King as a free safety, which is why he's not picked to go as high as when he was projected at corner, since corners go off the board faster.

You and I should put some money on your CJB prediction.

I think CJ goes anytime between late 3rd and early 5th.
You're Mitch Kinging this thing.

I'm a CJ fan but there's no way he goes anywhere close to that early if at all. He did good things for the Hawks but he'll be a FA, 2 year practice squad guy. After that it's time for a dick job in the music industry. I hope it works out great for him.

In the 3rd and or early 5th round are you for real???????

If CJ gets drafted it's in 7th round and that's IF he gets drafted my guess he doesn't and is FA.

Yes, I am, and I would feel comfortable putting a wager on it as well. This is a weak draft for QB's. Stanzi went in the 5th round and Beathard has better measurables all around.

What's a dick job in the music industry? On second thought I don't want to know.

You went to far with the backspace key. Learn the game.[/QUOTE]

Ya but, I had to make sure the bold text was showing lol.

Measurables are going to mean way less to pro teams than seeing him hobble around like late era Brett Farve for the last 2 years. That coupled with the major dump he took against Florida put any draft stock he might have had in the garbage can. That performance was blooper reel bad, complete with cheesy sound effects and clown car music. Senior Bowl? Same thing only shorter-lived. Say what you want about NFL scouts ignoring that stuff and going by numbers only, but it doesn't work that way. He's been injured more than a lot of veteran NFL quarterbacks, it's starting to show, and scouts know it adds up. There's a difference between being durable and just having a lot of guts.

CJ QB Rankings in this draft field is as high as 11th and as low as 15th. So not sure how that equates into a 3rd thru 5th round pick. Oh and As for that comment you would feel comfortable, just give that a rest because I'm not buying that for 1 second. If you feel that comfortable I'm sure me and some others can figure out away to make it happen!

There is so much money in the music industry these days that he is crazy not to go into music.
A lot easier on your body that's for sure. Unless your a backup QB which he'd be most of the time. That's as good of a gig as you can get being a clip board holder. The dude that beat out Stanzi to be #2 in KC for awhile I forget his name but he signed a stupid big deal and he's like hardly ever played. He's the exception to the rule but all you have to do is show a little bit of promise and be a coaches pet. But your right if you can catch fire in the music world your all set hard part is the catching fire part..

Yeah I'd say it's a safe bet King and Johnson will be 2nd rounders. Maybe someone falls in love with either of them a little earlier. I just hope they land on a good team that's a good fit for them. Putting King on a team that will want him to play man to man wouldn't be good for him. Not his strength. Put him on the other side of a Richard Sherman and play zone and that'd work well for him...
CJ is so tough to predict. He won't go in 3rd round. Even though the class isn't that good that just means the handful of guys ahead of him won't go all that high themselves. (Surely the NFL has learned not to reach for guys by now... NOT) I could see CJ go in 6th round or so. But I wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't at all. I think the combine and interviews will be a big big deal for him. I think the senior bowl should have helped him a little. So until I hear about how the combine goes for him I'm going to reserve judgement on making and definitive guess...
