John Wienke

First off: Wienke will not punt next year. Kornbrath(sp) an incoming freshman is expected to win the spot.

Second thing: I don't know much on fast vs slow kicking motions but I do know Weinke was averaging 45 yards a kick at the spring game where Mullings was averaging 60+ yards a kick.

You could smoke a Marlboro Red 100 before Mullings got his kick off..

sadly, it will be used playing NIU or Cent. Mich. so other teams have to "prepare" for it, rather then using it when we need to in a big game. I think that was my biggest issue with Kirk's style. lets run a reverse pass against Minnesota when we are up by 35 in the 4th quarter.

Ugghhh... you're going to bring me back into midseason Hawk fan mode with talk like that. I almost like the offseason more these days, because there's the prospect of hope. The last two regular seasons have just been maddening frustration.
