A vindictive one.
My dad died from pancreatic cancer at 64 years young. He never protected a pedophile. In fact, he was a WWII vet and worked in federal law enforcement for nearly 30 years. He was, some would (and did) say, a hero.
But I'm supposed to give a sh!t about this piece of filth paterno, who is sick at 84 with a treatable form of the disease?

Two wrongs - and a lot more of them that, you can be certain - make for a special place in Hell for Paterno and a lot of other folks in Creepy Valley.
Paterno covered up the rape of children. **** him.

Here is something a little bit different.
Joe Pa comes out and announces at a conference, his last.
Joe PA announces he made mistakes, he is guilty… as charged… everything, everyone says what he is or what he did… he is guilty… and wants to confess and make amends.
Joe Pa has one request… his wife may live in her own home over her last years and receive only an income that allows her to maintain her home, eat properly, have good health care and to live her last years with dignity and no one of us…. give her S#$7t.
Joe Pa gives up ….any and all…. of his current fortune (whatever that may be) and all future income beyond living at home with his wife as they both approach death in there 80’s.
Joe Pa in luei of prison time for having harbored a pedophile will on a regular basis talk… and do seminars… on the evils of being too powerful, too worried about his own image and all about himself when it should be about the children…
Joe Pa calls out everyone else at Penn State to do the same.
Joe Pa calls out Syracuse and every other institution, university, college, school… youth group or scout group. Any group that is looking away or shielding a child abuser or a pedophile.
Joe PA calls for all victims of child abuse, of sexual abuse, of pedophile to come out and call out their abusers and their enablers.. those people who look away and do nothing.
If Joe Pa could only, would only, should only do this…
