Todd Brommelkamp just tweeted this:

"Take it with grain of salt but Iowa signee Jaleel Johnson has posted on Facebook that Tom Hermann will b new DC at Iowa. KF likely thrilled."

LOL..sorry, Jim...the tweet said Tom, but I have put Jaleel's facebook post up...and double fail on my part for there already being a post about this ;) This is what happens when I have my head down writing ;)

I almost want to just delete this as an escape, but will let it stand as an example of something we need less of; not scanning the boards for the same stuff. I am sending myself to the box

before you do that there is some forum moderation that could use your attention. ;)

I hope this proves to be untrue....much bigger fan of Tom Bradley.

I can justify losing Parker & Wilson over hiring Tom Bradley....I can't really justify that over hiring Herrmann....a guy who "moved on" from UM because he couldn't stop the spread or mobile QBs....doubt he's gotten any better at that coaching in the NFL.

Bradley is the much better football hire....not so much on the PR side...but definitely a better football hire.

I'd be just fine with it. He has DC experience in the Big Ten, Ferentz is tight with Lloyd Carr and the defense Iowa has favored is very much like the defense Michigan played while Herrmann was their DC

OSU steals recruits, we steal coaches. ;)

This is an interesting thought. My initial reaction was that isn't a fair comparison as a coach is a paid professional but on the other hand you could apply that same standard to the athletes at tOSU.
