No pressure on the kid or anything but if he turns into a Michah Parsons type of disrupting LB this D will be ridiculously good again. I'm confident the back 7 whomever they all end up being will be solid. I think Van Ness will be a terror to try and block. If Black lives up to some of his hype just forget it. Offenses won't be moving the ball on us very easily at all

He's the guy who has to break out this year. Like Campbell last year.
The LEO is a key spot in out defense and if you can be a CASH hybrid that's better yet. AJ Edds and Christian Kerksey have thrived at that position in the past.

He reminds me of Leroy Smith. Smith played DE but they have similar bodies, skills...Smith was kind of a hybrid DE...more of a linebacker.
JJ is gonna be another great one for the Hawks.

If he does break out, that is huge. But I think there are so many other candidates, as well:
DL: Craig, Waggoner, Black, Van Ness
LB: Jacobs, Higgins
DB: DeJean, Roberts, Nwankpa, Castro, Harris, Schulte
I think the biggest challenge will be getting the 11 best players, regardless of position, on the field for the the key plays that decide games. It will be fun to watch Coach Parker use the talent and experience in creative ways.
