Jerry Kill survive the weekend?

Haven't heard anything from square heads up North. How was Coach Killer reaction after the A$$ whooping? Any more medical episodes? Profanity? I can't believe the higher ups at Minny aren't asking him to step aside. Medical reasons? Really? They didn't know about this history? Ticking time bomb

Not a good thread title considering the medical issues he has had the last few weeks.
Like I said, Higher ups have to be on pins and needles with this guy. Let him go, buy him out, something. Way too much liability. Just can't believe they had no knowledge of his condition. Hope I'm wrong but this could turn out real bad.

No talk at all about Kill being let go or even quetioned about his hiring. The talk has only increased since Saturday regarding Brewster, how bad he really was and the lack of talent he actually brought into the program. A telling stat from the Startribune this weekend... of starters on both sides of the ball this year, only 14 are Brewster recruits, the rest are already Kill's limited recruits in year one. 23 of Brewster's "highly touted" recruits have left the program over the years due to academic failures.

Brewster was the sideline reporter for yesterday's Vikes/Chiefs game and the TV stations didn't miss the opportunity to mock him.

Kill is a solid guy. His team sucks and the seizure thing has been uncomfortable to watch. But he's not smoke, mirrors and B.S. like Brewster. He knows he's got a rough job ahead of him and is not afraid of it. Tough not to admire a guy like that.

If anybody is to blame in this, it's Minnesota's AD (and joke) Joel Maturi. He knew of Kill's health issues. If it doesn't work out and Kill's health forces him to step down...it's on Maturi.

Didn't say he wasn't a solid guy. No question the AD is the man to blame on this. Had to have been a physical or at least a medical report on this history. Should have raised a red flag. I will predict here that this doesn't turn out well. He will have another episode or something that will force the hand on him or the university.

Wow. Guess you never have been in-charge of human resources decisions. Firing a guy because of a medical condition is usually frowned upon and a way to open oneself up to a Big Time law suit.

Getting rid of Kill will have to be done by him taking a voluntary buyout, or letting things run their course well enough to be able to claim performance failure.

nope, , never have been. Just sayin. Run their course? That could be a bad course too

Oh, it was a VERY bad hire. No doubt. Hard to believe they did it. But, once you do, you are pretty much stuck until you have enough data to claim lack of performance.
