I feel bad for this young man. But, I am confident that the coaching staff gave him every opportunity to be successful and gave him every opportunity to develop. That is what we do at Iowa. It did not work out for JS. Best of luck in the future. Sometimes, a new environment and some maturity can lead to success.

Same here. With all the advantages athletes are given it had to be he still had to go to class. This isn't North Carolina. Something wasn't working for him. Hope he turns it around somewhere else.
But as far as depleting the WR corps maybe this is exactly what we need. A new OC who's got to make his play for eventually succeeding dad isn't going to simply go with ground & pound. With the new talent coming in the freshman class and a strong-armed qb we could see Randy Moss v2.0 where Stanley/Weigers just chuck it up there and let 'em come down with it.
