After the civil trials that target the Paterno estate - let's talk about how rich Jay is.
This or just keep repeating over and over that his dad admitted he wished he would have done more and leave it at that.

Unless he gets specifically tied into this he's still going to be fine. Besides, let's take worst case scenario, they bankrupt him...he writes a book.
Jay Paterno has had his own high paying job for years now. You don't think he's accumulated enough wealth on his own to live pretty comfortably?
Also, have the courts ordered the Paterno estate to remain open? If I were the Paterno family that estate would have been closed by now otherwise.

I am glad he still has passion and love for his father and his legacy as opposed to just accepting what must sound like absolute schit to his ears.
Though, it is probably best he be quiet, at this point, he has so much emotions and a one sided view on things, I don't care. He is entitled to his own opinion, as biased as it may be.

And since the actual facts have been released in the Freeh Report, jaypa's bleatings just serve to make him look incredibly ignorant and immature.

It seems like there was something written that Joe Paterno was moving his assets around back in November. People were suspecting it was to keep his assets and money from being lost in a lawsuit.

He's a young man. Acting like it's a guarantee that he'll always be rich is a bit naive. How many lotto winners eventually went bankrupt? And people thinking the estate can be protected from this are being silly.

If I said to you back in Nov 2011 that PSU could be sanctioned by the NCAA - the B1G and the Dept of Education you would've treated me the same way you are right now.
Jay's conscience could eventually wake up and lead him to do stupid things. Sly Stallone's kid was set up for a life of priviledge and wealth. It didn't end that way. There are no guarantees in life. Didn't your wife leaving you prove that?
