Jarrod Uthoff Gets the Call

30K for 10 days work. That ain't bad.

10 day deals in the NBA are insane. Its the main reason young players stay in the D-league instead of going overseas. Once they have 1 year of experience under their belts the 10 day contracts become $50k or more.

I think Micheal Beasley's latest 10 day contract paid him around $60k...and he signed two of them already this year.

It's all about confidence with JU. If he feels like he can play in that league and he belongs, he has a decent chance of sticking. This is how the NBADL is suppose to work. Good luck to JU, hope he can play 10 or 12 years and make a little bit of cash.

Dallas has had some success with tall guys who can hit jump shots.

Because Don Nelson was willing to take a shot on a European big that could shoot. This was before the whole idea of a "stretch 4". Just think if Dirk had been a bust and it was leaning that way the first 2 years.......good thing he figured it out.

Is the rule that if you get 2 consecutive 10 day contracts that the team either has to sign you to a deal or release you?

Jared hasn't played much since getting the call. Didn't play at all last night. He hasn't made a bucket. Hope he gets some PT soon.
Needs to prove himself on the big stage to get a contract.
