James Daniels

Probably just giving some publicity to his high school. Also, he could be indifferent about his college choice, not everyone is a die hard.

Well, ok, just as long as next time he gives a nod to his middle school, and then to his elementary school, and at last to his pre-school. After all, these other institutions may feel slighted, too.

"James Daniels, Little Tots to Big Shots Pre-K" - something like that.

James Daniels, La (emphasis on La) Petite Academy.

Kids that make it to the NFL from Warren G HS, which Daniels went to, always mention Warren G during their rookie year. He's not the first and won't be the last to do it. It has been a tradition for this specific school for a while now. It will probably be changed next year. If not, no big deal either way. He always reps the Hawks

Watched the intro to the Bear-Eagles game last night, where the players introduce themselves and what college they played for. It gets to James Daniels and he says he's from "Warren G. Harding High School". Is that a slam on Kirk or he is friends with Fant so he isn't happy with how Kirk supposedly treated his buddy?

Just wondering and apologize if this has already been talked about.

Not a big deal but seems a tad bit ungrateful, if he did it out of spite, as Kirk and his staff surely helped him get drafted pretty high in the draft.

Quite often it's just giving a shout out to their high school.

You should listen to every player because more and more of them are saying their High School name, nothing to see here. I heard a couple dozen over the weekend

You see this quite a bit in the NFL. Many players go back to the last school where they graduated, as opposed to the last school they played.

Aaron Rodgers said, "Butte Community College" early in his career, and still does occasionally, though, recently, he's been saying "Cal" more.
