Watched the intro to the Bear-Eagles game last night, where the players introduce themselves and what college they played for. It gets to James Daniels and he says he's from "Warren G. Harding High School". Is that a slam on Kirk or he is friends with Fant so he isn't happy with how Kirk supposedly treated his buddy?

Just wondering and apologize if this has already been talked about.

Not a big deal but seems a tad bit ungrateful, if he did it out of spite, as Kirk and his staff surely helped him get drafted pretty high in the draft.

Oh well. He most likely was at Iowa for one reason. And that was his bother was there. Otherwise he probably goes to Ohio St.

If he says Iowa, 5 minutes later all of us will have moved on. But I bet kids at that high school will be talking about it all week.

Someone said that players from that HS who make it to the NFL always shoutout that HS the rookie season, and then they start saying the college.

Oh my lord... He does this almost every game.
His father posted a picture of him decked out in Iowa gear after the last time this became a twitter dust up. It was him in full Iowa gear right after the game.

People are looking for any proof of a player uprising that every little thing is a huge deal.

Actually that HS he's from has put many a pro into the NFL and I'm not 100% sure if he's the first to do what he's doing from there or not. But that HS is pretty nationally well known. Ted Gin SR I believe is their coach. You can guess at who his son is...

I've also seen some do it because they didn't graduate from the college they went too.

Honestly I don't really care, I've noticed it all season and just wondered.

The has come up before.... and again....and again. Lots of pros do this, occasionally going back to their high school to change things up and honor their hometown or coach. Non-issue.
