James Daniels have some issue with Iowa?

Holy crap, the OP asked a legitimate question. Sorry that he missed the post LAST YEAR explaining this.
Better publicity for the Hawks if a player says U of Iowa, but Daniels and family have been have big supporters, and the high school pact is cool. Glad he made it and is keeping his word.

I don't buy the better publicity for the university argument. Any recruit that we are pursuing is educated in our NFL pipeline and as "fans" we should be as well. If a former player wants to give a shout out to a High School, elementary school, preschool, etc. during player intros they certainly have that right. They're not disrespecting the program or the fans by not mentioning it and if they are then so what, I'd think they'd earned that right.

I have more issues with the media messing up "Iowa" with "Iowa State" or giving them credit that should belong to us. Especially in those rare tongue in cheek moments where Iowa City is confused with Ames.

Doug sure was a lucky guy.

The bigger story is the Bears scored 3 points last night. That isn't a lot.

I'll never understand the Bears offensively. Regardless of who's coaching. I questioned them trading up for Mitch and am baffled by the way they used/ over used Cohen last year yet essentially completely eliminated him from the running game last night. Poor offense, questionable offensive personnel, poor offensive game plan seem to be a common theme regardless of who is calling the plays. I really hope I'm wrong, but I simply don't understand it at all.

Was that on the combined SAT scores for the offense? Good thing I just watched the highlights as I would have been pissed to waste three hours on that horse crap.

Was that game in Greenbay? If so I guess you have to keep the owners of the franchise (fans) happy and excited about their team. (in other words throw the game, for as sure as hell the Bears QB wasn’t throwing the ball to wide open receivers). That QB is too good to play that poor.

I watched the game and don't remember any highlights...other than Rodgers getting hit repeatedly which was worth watching a second time.

Lol, I know. That was sarcasm. They could have showed the vendors in the stands and it would have had more action. If I paid to watch that I would be ripping on someone’s ass.

LOL I picked up the sarcasm, but at the same time thought to myself "maybe he's a fan of special teams and the punting game".

I wouldn't reading a lot into guys saying their high school instead of their college. They may want to give the high school some recognition.
If you watch the whole video I posted, some guys gave a shout out to their preschool, elementary, and a lot of other weird things. So you're right, it's nothing.
