boy, the raiders look worse and worse by the day. he was a ton of money down the drain. did they officially let him go yet? or was that a rumor?

I am pretty sure that they cut him. This passage is pretty telling. ;)

I don't know what the big deal is...you can't make a codeine flavored snow cone if you don't have codeine syrup...what the hell was he supposed to use???
 
Probably not that big of a deal. I don't think Codeine syrup is even a schedule II controlled substance. We'll need Seth the PHx to verify.

Codeine tablets, in their pure form, are a C-II CS (very tightly controlled, a felony if in posession w/o a prescription or distributing)

Tylenol with codeine tabs are CIII (less restrictive)

Codeine in small quantities or in combo with 2 or more ingredients, is a C-V and can be purchased over the counter.

JR screwed up because he was in posession of a codeine product without a prescription.
 
You cant sip some sizzurp without the codeine. Man what has this world coming too getting arrested for getting the flu now.
 
Codeine syrup such as Robitussin AC is a C-V.

The article doesn't mention what type/brand of liquid he had.

Driving under the influence of codeine is the same as alcohol.
