Seems like Jaleel's got his mind on MSU and Jerel Worthy these days. He just retweeted Worthy taunting Iowa fans. (Something about Hawk fans being bitter and how badass his Spartan Dawgs are)

It's unusual to say the least, in that you just visited Iowa, where you've been committed for a half a year, and you retweet the derisive and nearly-illiterate mumblings of Jerel Worthy. I also find it creepy that of all people Mark Dantonio will have the last word with OUR highest-rated recruit.

I wish Jaleel the best and hope he picks what's best for him, but he's handled the whole process in a slightly unorthodox (i.e. immature) manner.
 


Wasn't Worthy the one who was ON ALL FOURS in the middle of the field (instead of on the sidelines where he should've been) sucking wind and holdin' up the game for about 3 minutes when the Hawkeyes were getting' it rollin' on MSU in the second half. I thought he was gonna die right there on the field. I can't believe the refs let that crap go on.

Watch the Bears pick him... ugh.
 


Maybe this is a ploy by KF since our highest rated recruits seem to fizzle out in one way or another. He's just pawning him off on the biggest DB coach in the conference.

I heard from my mother's brother's uncle's sister's aunt that JJ no longer has an offer from the UofI.:confused:

This is a myth. If you actually look back through the archives, you'll see more success stories with Iowa's higher "rated" recruits than stories of ones that have fizzled.

I have a ******* MSU buddy who claims that is the word going around East Lansing. I think hes full of crap.

However, the aspect that makes you wonder is that if you had a kid/recruit who commits and has to know your policy on taking visits to other places...and they continue to dick around and basicall flaunt it on the internet that they might not be fully committed...I think you would eventually tell them to take a hike.

I dont read "twitters?" but from the various posts it seems like the above paragraph applies to this kid. Hope I'm wrong.

You are right. However, there have been enough Dan Doerings, Blake Larsons, and Jake Christensens to keep me from jumping off a cliff if a kid goes somewhere else.
 




Things are getting worse every year, and a lot of it has to do with a small percentage of fans that are following these players and are interacting with them like nervous 14 year old girls at their first high school dance.

I thought Johnson himself said that Iowa didn't pull his offer if he decided to visit MSU?
