Jaidyn Coon

Saw a picture yesterday on X I think it was of BM and Jaidyn Conn together.

Coon is a 6'6" wing from Storm Lake, BN's hometown, that is getting some recruiting attention. I see he scored 39 points in a game but don't really know much about him. Anybody know if he's talented enough to be a Hawk?

Cooper DeJean is on him as well, trying to get Jaidyn and Hawkeye MBB together. I guess those NW Iowa boys stick together.

Yeah he's gonna be a heck of a player we'd be fortunate to land him. I'd like to think we have the inside track of sorts (BM has been recruiting him for awhile when he was at Drake) No idea if the kid is a fan of any certain school or not.

I think he's kinda got that Adam Haluska look about him but I'm not sure if he's as pure a shooter as he was at that point.

JaydenC B a Playa

He appears to know his way around the basket and scores quickly and easily

Of course, his competition is rather minor league

He seems to have quick reflexes and is capable of launching and making threes

One would think he is Ours, Storm Lake and all

He kinda has his elbow flailing out a little on his jumper. He'll probably want to tinker with that and tuck that in. Could use some more rotation on his shot. Athletically the kid is a ball of clay any coach would like to be able to mold.

I lived in Storm Lake, Iowa for a couple of years shortly after getting married. We lived in some condo's out by the golf course. Anyone who has lived there doesn't have to question how that city was named. Mostly windy causing the lake there to have choppy waves.

Didn't they just get hit by a tornado earlier this week?

We actually had a contract on a home that was being built out by the lake but we backed out of the contract due to the fact that the sub pump in the basement never stopped running. The ground was so saturated from being about a block from the lake.

The builder contractor ended up moving into the house themselves. We noticed several times while driving through their neighborhood that their garage was open and we could see all their furniture packed into their double car garage. Hmmmmmm.............. interesting.

There is a city here in Utah named Hurricane. Go figure as it's out in Southern Utah where it's a very desert like environment. They do have floods when storms move through due to the lack of vegetation.
