He probably won't. He couldn't beat out Brady Quinn, and it is not because he was unfairly treated.
Why was it BS? Real men make real men money to make these decisions. If Stanzi could play, he would have played. Simple as that. It's unfair to compare him to Quinn when he never got a chance to play behind the 1st team. All we can really go off is the eye test in preseason games at this point. I just think it was bull **** he didn't get PT last year because he looked like he was capable of managing a game at the very least. This year who knows, he looked as capable as Bray in the preseason game I watched. Bray just has the analysis that he has more upside, which was reasonable imo w/ his arm.

Absolutely. Real men made the real decision to cut Wes Welker in '04, to cut James Harrison 3 times, to cut Jack Kemp and Johnny Unitas. And it's a good thing the Mariners' real men dumped Randy Johnson, cuz he was obviously washed up. If they could play, they would have played. Simple as that.
Player evaluation is an exact science, and anyone who tells you otherwise is a fool.
J'ville had to say something like, 'Yeah, we saw tape on Stanzi and liked him', to hopefully avoid a New England-like scandal 'cause J'Ville plays the Chefs the first game of season.
Maybe the Jaguars like Stanzi ?? I doubt if Stanzi cares, either way.
SIAP.

I guess your right. Warner worked his way up to be a great NFL qb. And God bless is, I can't think of a single example of a third-string QB that was cut from his team and didn't wind up have success somewhere else.I agree. Also Kurt Warner was a worthless qb. If he was any good he would have played in the NFL right away and not have to play for the Barnstormers. Simple as that.
