Just started, and the first thing that alarms me is that he was committed to Virginia Tech at the beginning of last season... Is he going to be fully committed to Iowa by the end of the season?
 
That was the first i have heard of this. I didnt even know he was recruited by va-tech. I think that if he did commit once already to another school then the coaches would have made double sure that this is what he wanted.
 
His reasoning for choosing Iowa is he wanted to play in a pro-style offense. Iowa is a pro-style team. Va Tech? Not so much.

Neither Rivals nor Scout list Rudock as having a Va Tech offer...so I'm not sure where you're getting this.

Is it something the announcers said? Either way...I wouldn't worry about it....he doesn't have a Va Tech according to the recruiting sites.

When they went through the starting lineups the announcers said he was verbally committed to va tech.

It just caught me by surprise.
