Izzo Lights Up Dakich

Good stuff... when you think about all the things he said about previous Iowa players (i.e. Woody), it's about time someone took him to task publically.

Holy smokes. Lighting him up is the right way to put it I'd say too. The Twitter just gives everyone beer muscles to say whatever they want. Ole Dakich isn't immune to it and can't seem to control himself. If your a grown professional adult what are you doing getting into a back in forth on Twitter with college students/fans like that? Calling MSU whiners isn't all that big of a deal to me actually. I see why Izzo don't like it but that sort of thing just is what it is. But there's no place for getting into arguments with students/fans and going personal with it. That's ridiculous.

Its funny that Izzo, who whines about as much as any coach out there, is upset at Dakich for calling MSU fans whiners. His comment about not being able to get into Michigan (while probably accurate) is a bit off putting, particularly with his kid riding the bench there, but I enjoy when people call out MSU.

Twitter's the worst thing out there for civility. People need to take an hour or two after a sporting or political event happens at least to gather their thoughts and calm down before responding, if they should respond at all. Instead, the instantaneous nature of twitter brings out the worst in us because our fallen nature makes us want to fire back immediately.

See Donald Trump and many people on the left. Both sides are guilty.

Yeah it's no coincidence that once social media took off, the way politics has been talked about/reported along with about everything else for that matter has changed for the worse.. That ex football coach of the Jets I can't remember his name atm. But he says it best about that stuff. Don't press send. Feel free to type it out or whatever but read it and then delete it without sending it.

Never thought I would ever write these words — GO IZZO.
Dakich deserves every bit of what Izzo dished out — even more.

If Dakich would just announce and not be such a richard, he'd be my favorite, because he does have a lot of knowledge to share, but he is not someone I can stand to listen to.

As much as I can't stand Dakich, Izzo is confirming Dakich's tweet. Izzo and MSU are a bunch of entitled brats.

I like twitter a lot, but am getting sick of some aspects, and I think it is only going to get worse. Sorry, but I don't want political tweets or opinions shoved down my throat and clogging up my twitter. I especially don't give a shit what sports writers think about political issues. I have already unfollowed several people for this reason.

Isn't that 98% of it? Political or not without anything factually tied to what people are throwing out there that's it in a nutshell. Others opinions. I don't have twitter. Just not enough time in the day between snap face and book face for me to have that too ;)
