Very disappointed the Molly thread got stopped. It's nice to be able to vent after something like this.
You can thank okeefe4prez for that.

I'm kinda surprised Daniels hasn't made it more in the NFL. As you said he doesn't have a ton of wiggle to his game but dude is plenty fast enough and strong enough to move the pile. I think he recently got into the Green Bay Packers camp. They've been searching for a RB for awhile so that could be a good fitAnd to add to that, remember that LeShun Daniels was pretty explosive in his own right. He didn't have the niftiness of Wadley, but he had very good straight speed for a back his size. He had 5 runs of 50+ yards his senior year (2 called back on penalties).

I honestly hope they stick with the "hot hand" theory that i heard a few days ago. I hope one emerges as a 1000 yard back but i dont care which one or if any do if they are all at 2000+ combined, to go with 3500 from Stanley of course. They’ll still go RB by committee like they did with Wadley & Daniels/Butler
Yeah he's not a 25 touch a game bell cow because of as you said in the pass happy NFL more than half the reps he'd be out there would require either blocking or running routes neither of which he's very good at... But as a 10 carry or less a game guy there should be a role for him to have. As is the case with most things it's all about finding the right fitI think his biggest short-coming is just lack of versatility. He is not great out of the backfield, and he is not great at pass pro (short arms). If it just came down to running the rock, I think he would have found a spot by now.
Vision and explosiveness. Very few have that.... see it, plant it and accelerate through the hole....ability needed at all levels but especially the NFL. The holes close so quickly in the NFL and the make up speed...ridiculous. straight line speed and power are probably slightly above avg for Daniels but he lacks that decisive burst/explosion. It truly is instinct to know what you are looking for, recognize it in an instant and then flip that burst switch. Wadley is better at it then Daniels. Greene had it and he was decent at the next level, but was still lacking as well.I think his biggest short-coming is just lack of versatility. Only if KF has changed. Otherwise, it’s whoever has shown more in practice + (safer choice x 2)I think it'll be a hot hand situation. Maybe even a matchup and situational type of deal. Young will most likely be the short yardage/goal line rb. I just hope they all stay healthy but the odds are no less than one of them will get nicked up.
I understand your sentiment, but zero chance a thread about the Tibbet situation doesn't go political, and nobody here wants to fucking hear that. I'm glad it got nuked.Very disappointed the Molly thread got stopped. It's nice to be able to vent after something like this.

2015, 2016, and 2017 were all by committee with a power back and a small, juking, slot-capable back. And it worked spectacularly.I honestly hope they stick with the "hot hand" theory that i heard a few days ago. By most accounts that looks like what we have this year with Young and IKM. I think it'd be foolish not to approach this year the same way until it stops working.
I will say it worked spectacularly when both were healthy. I still think you stick with it until it's broken.I will cut you some slack and concede 2015 and 2016 worked out ok.
But the running game did not work spectacularly in 2017. Other than Wadley making some great plays once he got in the open field, the running game was close to awful.
Butler was a big disappointment, mainly because he got hurt. IKM and Young showed some promise in mop-up duty but did not really play any important minutes, except for North Texas, when Wadley was "hurt".
Ignorance is a matter of perception and wasn't what got the post locked.I've always felt that ignorant comments were right at home on HN, was glad and kind of shocked to see Rob step in because it was quickly building to that.

Whether a discussion gets political, however, isn't up for interpretation. It either is, or isn't, and that thread went overtly political.
Sophomoric lesson on morals, but I'll give you a B- for effort.
One man's ignorance is another man's truth and vice versa. There's no rule about closing threads because of that and there shouldn't be.Ignorance or lack of knowledge on a subject is not a good thing no matter what your perception is. There would have been a lot of it involved after the news broke yesterday about Molly's murderer. I'm not giving any one a lesson on morality but rather expressing my thanks that there is some sort of rule that goes on here. A lot times, it's hard to tell.
