I'm stunned. I thought for sure Kurt would bring him back, but the presser hit me like a ton of bricks. Could someone with more musical talent than me (e.g., the guy who did Coker Pace) make this happen?

After seeing the beginning of the Davis era, I still feel this way. Jake Christensen mauled NIU in his first start in 2006 but this offense was just anemic.

I remember that game, Jake's first start. He never played that well the rest of his career.

I never came over here on that game day...sometimes it's not good to come here until a Tuesday after a game. That wasn't very nice of him. If I was mod, I might have given him a time out too.

I think that thought process might apply to the inner conflict experienced by some vis a vis the QB situation and the Ol' ball coach's veracity-challenged handling of it.
