Sad and pathetic that football fans have to put up with crap year after year. No where is college football would this be tolerated.

The meaningful season is officially over. Iowa could go 3-0 or 0-3 the rest of the way, and the results wouldn't make an ounce of difference on the quality of bowl game. Mansell needs multiple series in every game the rest of the way, and should start against Illinois. This also goes for every freshman who has four games left and can still redshirt. Time to find out who can play and who can't and hope that ol' 8-4 Kirk can improve next year.

Stanzi played pretty good vs Purdue. Mansell has only been on the field a handful of plays. He has looked really bad when he has been out there. God help us if he has to play any meaningful snaps the rest of this season.

Petras will be the #2 next year, imo. I think Mansell may look elsewhere. He looks really uncomfortable under center, in the limited times I saw him in. He throws a pretty ball and can move a little, but I agree that I dont believe he's the answer.

Priority 1 is improving Oline. We do that, I think we may like the offense next year.

These losses, the mistakes, and how we have been losing have been beyond brutal, but ...and maybe I'm wrong....the offense has improved in the areas I hoped it would....at least in terms of receivers being open, # of downfield attempts, and points scored. Still a long ways to go in rushing yards and redzone scoring....again...Oline and RB vision....
