It's official. Iowa is 4th in the BCS poll

I was watching College Football Live just now. Jesse Palmer (not an "expert" anyway in my opinion) says that Iowa only beat a 4-4 team on the road with a last second field goal. He failed to mention how the #2 Alabama Crimson Tide needed to block a last second field goal against a 3-4 team at home. Double standard once again.

If that had been Penn St. or Ohio St. who had won on the road with a last second TD we wouldn't be having this discussion. Media favorites are always media favorites. Most of those guys are 3 year olds with honorary journalism degrees. They like who they like and that's the end of it. Bama beats a 3-4 team (at home) by blocking field goals to win it and they are now #1. When Iowa did it-they were ousted from the polls all together. We beat Michigan St. on the road and we loose a spot in the polls...BS beats Hawaii (that's kind of like beating Cedar Rapids Jefferson this year) and they stay ahead of Iowa. Yup. All is fair in love and war they say.

Let the "experts" underestimate the Hawks all the way to 12-0. Don't care what "they" think.

Someone change the Detroit "expert's" article to Iowa being the worst 8-0 team in history and hang it in the locker room. Or keep an eye on the Boise and Cincinnati papers to see if they have an "expert" complaining about the Hawks passing over them in the bcS. Someone is bound to complain.

Makes for good bulletin board material and chips-on-shoulders.

9-0 worst team in history is okay by me.
