It’s amusing how in the head of little red fans and players the Hawks are

Last game is barely over and they are already talking smack. Which is odd considering Iowa is supposedly not even at their level. Why waste time worrying about little old Iowa? Aren’t the fuskers about to roll off 5 NCs in a row?

I live in Omaha and have to listen to these delusional sanctimonious “best fans” all year, winning this game is always glorious.

Eff Nebraska and their latest Douch Bag savior of a coach.

God bless ya! I was in Waterloo Iowa many years ago and ran into a late 20 year old Husker fan in a local watering hole one night. He was in town with a crew for his work. We were bantering while shooting doubles in pool and I had all I could take of him which was only 1-2 hrs. Their mind is just at a different place and Nebraska is just on this different pedestal than anyone else and nobody else can hold their jocks. Sickening.

I had relatives that lived in Lincoln for years. I never had any issues with them, they were always nice and polite. They always liked to talk college football. One guy was bit of a Husker nut (entire basement was a shrine.) Ohio St and Wisky fans are the worst

I was eating breakfast at a Lincoln Perkins restaurant while on my way to Colorado for family vacation. I bit on a blueberry pit and it broke one of my crowns. My dentist could not recrown my tooth without performing a root canal. Thank you, Lincoln.

Having to listen to those fans on a daily basis has to be like a whole mouthful of root canals. And that's when they lose. What's a Nebraska victory like? Castration without ether?

Born and raised in Iowa as a Hawk fan, but have lived in Nebraska for 44 years now, due to my work. Most of my Husker friends are nice people. (Then again, if they weren't, they definitely wouldn't be my friends.) But there is an arrogance here in some people. It is a holdover from their NC days, for sure, but as we are now more than 20 years removed from the last NC, you would think it would be time to hang up that old argument.

What always got me was how they looked down on the B1G. Claiming they would win it every year if they were part of it, but how glad they weren't as they liked playing "Big Boy Football".

Then, when they joined in 2011, and sugar plum fairies and conference championships danced through their heads, they were as unbearable as you could stand. Those visions faded quickly once they started playing. Even though they were successful in a lot of games, they found out who really plays "Big Boy Football" and it wasn't the B12.

Early talk also was, "Iowa's our neighbor, not our rival". Iowa is just another step back to the NC game again. And now, suddenly, after losing 4 out of 5, Nebraska thinks Iowa is a rival? I just hope Iowa opens a can of whoop ass on their behinds.
