It's all simple math....

We've simply regressed to the mean.

We had no business sweeping MSU and Purdue early in the year and anyone who thought we were in the ballpark of a #1 seed was deluding themselves. We are right at, or maybe slightly better, record-wise than what the talent (both players and coaches) would indicate. The only thing that really kept us up as high as we were early on was the overall experience of our team compared to the rest of our opponents. But now that teams know not to sag off Jok and Uthoff, the outside shots aren't there and we have no one that can create their own offense off the dribble or from deep. Couple that with the collapse of the bench, and it's a recipe for losing 4 out of our last 5.

What we have to hope for is to get to the Tourney as a 4/5 seed and hope that we get some good match up opportunities to get us to the Sweet 16.

Disagree. We may not have had the talent to sweep those teams, but we did sweep them, and now we're losing to garbage teams on a regular basis. Do I think we are a top 10 caliber team? No. Do I think we're a top 25 caliber team? Absolutely. Are we playing like a top 150 team right now? Nope, not even close. We are playing garbage basketball and it's ******* me off to watch us fall apart yet again.

If you mean "Fran is one of the worst five coaches in the Big 10 and is getting completely outcoached by an interim and a guy that Indiana may still fire", then yeah, sure.
