It was nice to see the Hawks actually stomp someone, no matter how bad they are

WMU is a bad, bad team that will probably go 0-12, but I loved watching us stomp the hell out of them.

WMU lost to Nicholls State two weeks ago. Nicholls State lost to Oregon 66-3, to Louisiana Lafayette 70-7, and is losing right now to Langston University, whoever the hell that is.

But Sparty struggled against them and NW only won 38-17. The Hawks played an outstanding game today. It's really the first Saturday we have nothing to complain about in a long time. I hope it's a sign of things to come.

Don't get me wrong the Broncos are not a good football team but dont take away from the hawks performance today. As DJL stated there are other big ten teams that did not dominate in this fashion. Tip your g'dam hat to Phil Parker and the D who didn't give up a first down in the first quarter and only allowed 3 points which came off a turnover.

Good teams should take teams like this behind the woodshed. We haven't done that for a very long time. Things are looking up.

Great Win today. Nice to see.

Still wanna see a fast start next week on offense(havent seen that and slow starts will hurt in B1G play). As comp gets tougher we need to keep drives going and not stall out. Showed improvement in receiving today. Just gotta get better every week.

Nice to see Iowa do what they should do. The big10 is god awful this year so we should be in the mix

What a difference a few weeks makes....A few weeks ago, we were worse than we have been in years. Now we are world beaters...Don't get me wrong, Im not taking away from what they did yesterday, nor am I losing faith. Ive been saying we would surprise people this year for quite some time. I just think its funny.

And yes, I DO see them coming out of the darkness....This team seems to be a "typical" old school Kirk Ferentz team that we are used to thus far. They are getting better each week. Still need consistency from the offense, which has been pointed out many times before, but things seem to be coming together quite a bit.
