Calling it now....just not enough time left and Nebraska is playing reasonably well for them. Iowa picked the wrong time to bring back its horrible offense and non-championship defense.
It sucks the big one, but this disappointing home loss, with everything on the line division wise, sums up this sorry season.

If DeJean plays the whole game, we win. It's really that simple. His replacement got burned twice for TDs.
That should have been a close game where our D took over late and we won by 7.

Nah. There's not REALLY anything on the line when winning gets you to 8-4 and a date against one of two teams that already slaughtered us 6 weeks ago. We dodged another embarrassing loss next week.
A west title doesn't mean a whole lot when all the teams have at least 4 losses.
Losing to Nebraska is the worst.. I'd much have rather lost to Wisconsin and had nothing on the line today

Losing Dejean and 3 really bad turnovers (2 due to terribly schemed, terribly timed naked boots straight into unblocked blitzes, with not having established a run game yet...OC incompetence). The muffed punt was rough as well.
Damn painful to lose to nebby, playing like that. Everything that could have went wrong in the first 2.5 quarters...did.
Damn.
Take solace in the fact we literally had to shit it down both legs for Nebby to come out on top? Nah.
