ISU vs. Drake

that's what I'm hearing...a bunch of individuals trying to play as a team. no doubt they have talent tho.
 
After a half, I get the same feel. They are an AAU team. Tons of talent, but not a team. If they put things together, they could be dangerous, but we will see if the Mayor has that ability.

I wouldn't say that. It's Royce White and a bunch of average guys. Despite what Cyclone fans will tell you about final four legend Chris Allen, there's a reason why he was never anything more than the fifth option on any of the MSU teams he was on.

Maybe you are right, and I am just buying into the practice all-stars hype.

Royce has thought he was a one man team on a few plays, trying to take it coast to coast through the entire other team.
 
ISU is a work in progress to be sure. They lack a true PG and so they have Christopherson handling those duties.
 
From what I see of Iowa State tonight, we might have a good chance at Hilton. Of course, there are a few games in the meantime for ISU to get things together. I am starting to like our chances at this stage....

Would love to see Drake emerge victorious....
