ISU not feeling the magic today

Seems like they are on the wrong side of some home cookin today. We'll see what they got today at OU. Not looking good at this point.

Yup, not their day today. I expect they'll end the regular season with mostly wins but with some losses too. If teams can win their home games and also grab a chunk of their away games, they'll be OK. I expect ISU to do that.

Want the Hawks to do that too! Looking forward to seeing what they can do tomorrow!!!

ISU poor 3-pt shooting today. OU good 3-pt shooting today. That's what Big12 teams will have to do to beat them. That's not going to happen a lot.

I also thought it was strange that ISU didn't even seem to attempt to get their hot hand going with the 3-pointers. They didn't seem to have that taken away from them as much as they just didn't seem to even try to get it going. Kinda' strange....

After chunking a sucession of 3's, Fred called a time-out. Following that time-out it looked like ISU focused on the paint with just a couple of 3's until the very end of the game (which they started chunking again). Could be just my perception, though.

Rims "sounded" tight?

Kane's body language was not good today during the game.

The refs didn't look bad today. There was a horrible continuation call under the basket against ISU (Ejim?). That was pathetic.

No surprise that they lose when they finally play a solid team on the road.

Well, we'll both be facing some solid teams on the road before the season is over. And then at the end, we can take a tally of how each of these teams did against their competition away from home.

I'm more interested in how WE do against solid teams on the road. I'll let them worry about their Win/Loss record, although so far, we're lagging there too when compared to ISU and their record so far this season.

The point is, I just don't care how well they do (and it's usually pretty darned good) unless they're playing that one game against us! And we blew that one this year. We may say how we're the better team and we had it won and we should'a could'a would'a won.. but we didn't. The big W went in their column, and the nasty L went into ours.

I'm just wanting us to do well against those solid teams when we have to play on the road! I could care less about ISU.

Kane complained about about everything. Including the play where he wasn't touched and turned his ankle himself. Then I love how he has to get carried off the floor on a slight ankle tweak. Toughen up and walk off the floor. He'll be playing vs KU.

Other than that, I wouldn't worry if I were an ISU fan. Road losses happen to everyone, and Oklahoma was hot from 3. They will be fine, still contenders to win the B12. I think ISU will beat KU in Ames on Monday.
