ISU-KSU

Nope. Way worse. KSU turned it over on downs on 4th and 19. ISU takes over with 1:22 on the clock, KSU has 1 timeout. Instead of kneeling, ISU runs Warren, he fumbles, gets hurt, KSU recovers. KSU goes down to score with 40 seconds left or so. ISU attempts to get in FG range. Lanning fumbles, KSU recovers, kicks FG. Wins

WOW.

I too thought there was 1:30 left. In that case, if KSUck has a timeout left, you can have the QB scramble around for a few seconds to get that clock down to 1:25 or so when they call timeout. After than, you're golden, because at most you'd have a 4th down with 2 or 3 seconds and you could just roll outside the pocket and chuck it out of bounds, or whatever.

If there's 1:22...Good God. You just take knees. 1:20 = 80 seconds = 2 plays x 40 second clock = two kneel downs, which each burn a couple of seconds on their own.

Yes, that kind of ineptitude is a fireable offense. The whole point of the preceding 58:40 is to put yourself in a position to kneel out the last 80 seconds.

And he ran his star RB into the heart of a defense which was doing everything possible to remove the ball from him. What a fkn moron!

Cyfans spent the 2nd half of that game calling for the head of Paul Rhoads. Mark Mangino tweeted the fat lady is singing in Ames. Now cyfans are attacking Mangino. I guess only cyfans can call for a coach to be fired.

They should be calling out Mangino. Who's he to address the "Fat" lady. If he's calling her fat she's really got to be one fat lady.

Rhoads biggest screw up was against Okie State.

ISU let a 24-7 lead slip away against Oklahoma State. Trailing 35-31, the Cyclones threw an incompletion on 3rd-and-1 from its 37 on its next-to-last possession. Rhoads admitted he thought his team had made a first down on the previous play. ISU got stopped on a fourth-down run. It is really bad when the coach doesn't know the down & distance.

Unreal how they lose this game. Then you got this freaking Dbag kicking them when they are down. His own son is still on staff. What a POS, and Clown fans wonder why the program is a mess? Who and why would you hire a POS like Mangino??

Says tons (so to speak) about Mangino.

How does he fit into his wife's dress?

Is that great falsetto pure talent or was ther much tranning involved?

Why would Rhoads tolerate such a poisonous attitude on his staff for so long?

That's awesome, didn't see that. Rhodes was trolling Mangino with his comments during the Texas game. Those two deserve each other, what petty ******* losers.

I checked, I was wrong. 1:22 is what was left after the play, not before. But the point still remains. 1:31 left on the clock. Run around, take a knee. 5 seconds. timeout. 1:26 left. Run around again, 5 seconds, 1:21 left, play clock resets to 40, runs down to 41 seconds. Repeat. Game over.

Im sorry to see Paul go...but after 7 years and the meltdowns this season sounds like Pollard had no choice. Where is the money coming from for the 4.5 million dollar buyout? Did Jamie find a winning lottery ticket in his dry cleaning?

5 seconds is a really long time to run around for but still worst case scenario, you're punting with like 15 seconds left.

I agree. And for those that say "look at MSU- mich game". That has happened once ever, but fumbles happen every game.

Plus ISU at TOPS has about 4 seconds on the clock, and you can run backward and take a safety. Michigan didn't have that option.

don't forget - they not only screwed the pooch once, but twice in the last 1:20. logic of taking a knee in certain portions of games on display. many times, it makes sense to 'live for the next play'........
