Well, the series is sponsored by Hy-Vee and called the Heroes Game. I would not be surprised that there is a trophy then if sponsored. I think this is why Hy-Vee gave up the Cy-Hawk series as they have significant exposure in Omaha as well and sponsoring the series would give them a larger population base to advertise within as apposed to the Cy-Hawk game.

Wasn't that one of the options for the "Student" trophy that people were supposed to vote on? Is that something different than the actual on-field game trophy (assuming there is such a thing)?

It definetly is the student trophy, but i kind of hope it is the "actual" trophy. Not out of any love for this design, but because i feel it should be something from the students rather than a corporate ad agency thing like a certain other new trophy.

I'm pretty sure there's going to be two trophies for the Hawks to lose; the Heroes trophy and the Corn Bowl student trophy.
