is there a more popular hawkeye forum?

I still enjoy this site, best, and have posted since the bigten.org days in 1999.
The articles are very, very solid here.

The message board could use some more volume, but we are just all anxiously waiting for football to start.
Rivals may have more message board volume, but someone with a name, that rhymes with Kom Takert, is not a nice person, and some of the posters over there are a little too mean-spirited.

The thread over there is like 200 pages long. Clown fans acting like Alabama fans looking down their national title noses talking to sw Missouri state. It's a pretty eye opening look into our little brother.

Wow! 210 pages worth of myopia.
Cyclone fans are like Apollo Creed teasing Ivan Drago, and we saw how that turned out.
Only difference is that Apollo was a recent heavyweight champion and ISU hasn't been a champion, since 1912.

I am very conflicted as to which team I want to see lose. Why can't they both lose?
 
I agree with Sparky...CyFan may be your cup of tea. They are still reliving every moment of the unprecedented year they had. You would think it's mid-season over there.

back when we were good/fun to watch.... 2008-2010......

the scout board was really fun, there would be like 2,000 people logged on to it at a time

that was back when STLbadger would come on the board and mess with us and it was pretty cool to woop their ass back then or at least be competitive

iowa football is lame now and no one really cares anymore.. we're just CJB fans now
