Is The New Parker Up To The Job?

what I have seen so far with this team, a solid rotation between the DL VS the ride the starters the entire season like we saw under Norm. the DB's are lining up in nickle formation and on occassion a dime package, I have also seen more Blitzs. probably not enough but with as young as this defense is no need to get blitz happy, to expect these kids to play like 3rd or 4th year players is unreal, even True freshman Ott had his RS pulled last weekend when RSFR McMillan got hurt, there is a silver ling to this but a very painful lining, the young players are getting a lot of playing time that will benefit them and the team in the long run
this is true with the offense, RSFR Blythe with RSFR Walsh will both be starting this weekend at the Guard spots.. we saw how well Scherff and Donnall opened hole for the RB'S so far this fall and both were RSSO getting their 1st starts,, all they had to do was get the pass blocking down, this a key to having good QB play, the RB's will be a solid position next fall. this is the silver lining but a painful lining. Canzeri went down in spring and now appears to be redshirting this year, Hill went down to injury and is Red shirting, Bullock stepped in and went down with Garmon coming in for a few playes before getting hurt in the same game, then Weisman stepped in and gained 600+ yards in 4 games, now he is out for who knows how long. the TE's there have been 4 used 5th year SR Derby, 3RD year true JR CJF who could have used a RS before playing but played because of need before he was ready.
2ND year SO Hamilton another that was played before he was ready, and now RSFR Duzzy is seeing time, these players will pay dividends down the road because of their being played. as for the WR's we are seeing RSFR Hillyer, True FR Smith with 4.4 40 listed time seeing action, Cotton a True JR is finally healthy and is showing his skills this year, another that should have red shirted but KF leaves that up to the kids.
rather than call for coaches to be fired and players out its time to realize just what these coaches are dealing with all the injuries and young players. whether you like it or not Having a 5th year QB is a big help min dealing with all the new players and the coaching changes, this is where some of the bashing of JVB is uncalled for, he does not go out there to deliberiately to lose games,
all the injured players should be 100% by next fall and this team will be much better because of this.. the WR position will be deeper with 6'2 Mabin will be a RSFR with a 4.4 40 listed time, 6'2Wilson will be a RSFR with a 4.5 40 time vlisted to be added to the mix and Willies a 6'4 kid with 4.4 40 time listed is coming in as a freshmen who has the height and the speed people want.
just relax the future is getting better

Your absolutely right, he doesn't go out looking to deliberately lose games. While the criticizing may be harsh the fact is he is not good. And last I knew good players, even average players don't get booed. The booing, whether right or wrong, in this came comes as a result of consistently bad play week in and week out. It easily be directed at the coaches, but the fact is when he messes up, he will hear it because no fan is going to wait for the defense or special teams to come out onto the field to voice there displeasure. The fans just did not mysteriously turn on JVB, whether acceptable or not, they turned on him for a reason.

And I have seen nothing out of JVB at this point to validate the fact that having him in at this point is helping them deal with all the personnel and coaching changes. We may not be better with out him, but he's not really helping us along either.
